Recycled Teak Creating something new from old wood, such as abandoned houses, gives repurpose to these beautiful timbers. After sorting the materials, foreign objects, such as nails are extensively removed from the wood, and it is then cut to size and sent for further mechanical surface processing in preparation for outdoor furniture production. Recycled teak combines both the durability and strength of traditional teak with the environmental benefits associated with recycling existing materials, and to ease the pressure off plantation and new raw materials. Properties Recycled teak has a natural look and feel. As it is a handmade natural product, every single piece is unique with its own individual character and charisma, no two pieces being identical. One of the beautiful characteristics of recycled teak wood, is its imperfections, hinting at its history and use in an earlier life. These imperfections include laminations, patches, holes, minor variations in hue, minor scratches, dents, cracks, knotholes, inserts, or other characteristics typical of up-cycled teak wood. None of these characteristics will affect the life of the product, but they will make the product uniquely yours. The unique features of these recycled timbers, will also sometimes show oxidation marks where there were once nails or other metals in the wood. These may cause dark black spots and are a feature of these reclaimed teak products.

As such, they are sold as-is, and do not come with any additional warranty or guarantee beyond your rights under Australian Consumer Law. We offer delivery for outdoor furniture clearance items, primarily within local metro areas, subject to the location of stock. As these are clearance goods (including ex-display, returns, or aged stock), they are typically lightly packed or blanket-wrapped and must be inspected before purchase. Interstate delivery is not available for clearance stock.

Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode, item volume, and service level required. You can estimate your fee by entering your postcode in our delivery calculator at checkout.

Prefer to collect your item? Pick-up is available by appointment only, with at least 24 hours' notice required. Collection is generally available during business hours, Monday to Friday, depending on store hours and stock location. Please confirm stock location before booking your collection time.
